Scheduling & cancellation
- After you pay, you book sessions through the online scheduler using the same email you paid with. Each booking is confirmed once it's matched to your payment, and you'll receive a confirmation email with a video link and a reminder before each session.
- You may reschedule or cancel for free up to 24 hours before a session using the link in your confirmation email.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed sessions, are charged in full (or deducted from your package). Genuine emergencies happen — just reach out.
- If you're more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session may be treated as missed. Late arrivals end at the originally scheduled time.
- If I need to cancel or reschedule, you'll receive a full refund or a free rescheduled session — your choice.
Payment & refunds
- All sessions are paid in advance by card through Stripe's secure checkout, and a receipt is emailed to you automatically. After you pay, I'll email you within one business day to schedule.
- Packages are paid in full up front and are valid for 6 months from purchase.
- Unused package sessions can be refunded at the single-session rate minus sessions already used, within the 6-month window.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. I never see or store your full card details.
What to expect
- Tutoring is educational support. No tutor can guarantee a particular MCAT score, and I don't.
- Official AAMC practice materials must be purchased by students through their own AAMC accounts. I don't share or resell copyrighted prep materials.
- MCAT® is a registered trademark of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). MCAT with Miles is not affiliated with or endorsed by the AAMC.
Privacy
I collect only what's needed to schedule and run your sessions:
- Contact details you provide (name, email) and anything you share about your goals, test date, or scores.
- Scheduling data handled by my scheduling provider (Cal.com) and payment data handled by my payment processor (Stripe). Their own privacy policies apply to that data.
- Contact form submissions, delivered to my email through a form service (Formspree).
- Student records (your name, email, purchases, sessions used, and the test date and scores you share), kept in a private Google Sheet and my email (Google). I use an AI assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) to help organize these records and draft emails, and I review every email before it's sent.
I use this information only to communicate with you and provide tutoring. I don't sell or share your information, and I won't use your name, scores, or feedback publicly (for example, as a testimonial) without your written permission. Sessions are not recorded unless you ask me to record one for your own review.
